Building Your Pedal Collection

Your Pedal Collection is the list of pedals you actually own. Adding your pedals to the collection keeps the pedal selector focused on what’s relevant to you, and lets you save a dedicated MIDI channel for each pedal.

Click the Pedals icon in the left sidebar to open the Collection panel. Browse by manufacturer or search by name, then click any pedal to toggle it in or out of your collection.

Your collection is saved automatically — you don’t need to click a Save button.

If you run multiple pedals on the same MIDI cable chain, each pedal needs its own MIDI channel so they don’t interfere with each other.

In the Collection panel, find the pedal you want to configure and set its MIDI channel (1–16). This channel is remembered for that pedal and used any time you select it in Nitelite — including in single-pedal mode and in signal chains.

Most pedals default to channel 1 or channel 2. Check your pedal’s manual to see its current MIDI channel, and match it in Nitelite.

Your collection and MIDI channel assignments are stored with your account. They’re available on any computer you sign into — no local setup required.

Once your collection is set up, head to MIDI Channels to learn more about channel assignments, or jump straight to Controlling Your Pedals.
